Linking heterogeneous semantic data

User-friendly and easy-to-use interface
Support for heterogeneous data
Pre-defined views of nuclear ontology concepts
Dynamic ontology graph representation
Visual query builder
FP7 BIOHYPO and Pneumopath projects are using it
Take a look at hosted projects
Data browsing
Browse and download data according to the ontology classes, in a clear and simple user interface with data filtering capabilities.
Ontology graph
View the ontology classes and properties and zoom in on the parts of the ontology where you need to review some detail.
Query builder
Build your own queries graphically, removing the need to know SPARQL query language. If you already know SPARQL, you can always type in your queries.

And now more technical stuff

Based on this
A new system that makes use of the concept of linked data, a recommended best practice for exposing, sharing, and connecting pieces of data, information, and knowledge on the Semantic Web using URIs and RDF. Data is represented following an ontology, that can be updated.
With this technology
This system uses Virtuoso OSE as the underlying triplestore. To address user concerns regarding security and privacy, it supports user/project control access, based on OpenID for authentication and FOAF+WAC for authorization.
Which is good for
The sdlink system has proved its importance within scenarios that need to deal with heterogeneous data, including sequence data, images and experiment results, resulting from several teams and work packages.
